How it works

Set Click2Docs as your default app for Office files in Finder
Double-click any supported document
The file uploads to your Google Drive automatically
It opens in the right Google editor in your browser

Setting as default app

Right-click any supported file in Finder
Select Get Info (or press Cmd+I)
Under Open with, select Click2Docs
Click Change All... to apply to all files of that type

FAQ

Where are my files uploaded?

All files are uploaded to a dedicated "Click2Docs" folder in your personal Google Drive. Nothing is stored on any external server.

Is my data secure?

Click2Docs uses Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. Your credentials are never stored by the app. Files are transferred directly to Google Drive over an encrypted connection.

Can I use it with a Google Workspace account?

Yes. Click2Docs works with any Google account, including personal Gmail and Google Workspace (business) accounts.

What happens to the original file?

The original file on your Mac is not modified or deleted. A converted copy is created in your Google Drive.

How do I sign out?

Open Click2Docs and click "Sign Out" in the top right corner of the main window.
